Notes
Abraham met twenty two Bukoma B community members and they went around checking the trees they planted. The found that some members lost their trees because of the prolonged drought, they had estimated the rain patterns but this time it did not work work that the rain delayed until now it has just started. They used to water the trees but some places there is rat moles which cut the trees underneath and they said they were seeing their trees dying. Also some trees who survived are looking good, they have put cages around them so that they are not eaten by animals. Abraham told them that he has brought for them two hundred Mvule seedlings and one hundred Musizi. They were so happy and they said they are going to replace those who died and also give to some members who did not have chance to get from the last time. There is on member who cuts timber he told the group that what Kibo is doing it is great because as they look around they have cleared the place growing sugar cane and now their wives struggle to look for fire wood, if Kibo comes to encourage them to plant trees they should do it with one heart and also they need to plant other trees on their own. He said he has been going around cutting trees for timber but this is his time also to replace what he had cut down. He asked the members if there one with a big Mvule or any tree he was going to buy it with a lot of money but there was none. The village received a storm which destroyed some crops and some weak houses the roofs went off and the owns are trying to rebuild again.

Next Visit: 2018-10-22 - Purpose: Discuss how to care for the trees for the all group
