- Village Notes
- Nabikenge has started making bricks for sale. They work together as a group, women fetch water, cook and also bring dry banana leaves for covering the finished bricks.
Men do the rest of the work up to the burning process.
They agreed on how much money a member should get after the sale. The bricks are made on order and are given a period of time when they should be ready that’s why they are determined and serious. Nabikenge thanks Kibo for the great ideas always.

- Notes
- Ida went to Nabikenge to build the chicken coop. Last time she asked the community each one to come with a pole.
All the members brought poles of different sizes which was great because all sizes were needed. Before the demonstration, Ida did some review to see weather they still remembered the previous lessons.
After the review,Ida asked where the coop was going to be built. Every one raised their hands requesting for the opportunity. It was hard to decide who should be given the opportunity.Nabirye Margaret stood and gave a suggestion how the matter should be handled. Good enough the community trusts her very much that they all agreed and paid attention to what was suggested.
Margaret said that let the secretary write all peoples names each one on a piece of paper and put them on a table then a child who was around three years old should pick one piece of paper, whoever the child chooses takes the opportunity. This was a great idea because everyone was happy and contented.
The secretary wrote each persons name as Margaret suggested and a child came and picked one piece of paper and gave it to Ida to read the name that was on it. People were praying to their God that the name should be theirs. Finally Isabirye won and no body complained.
After the voting exercise, all members walked to Isabirye’s home to start the building process.
Something funny happened that though the community knew what is needed when building, none remembered to bring nails. But the old woman wasn’t able to cut a pole decided to bring banana fibers that worked very well as nails.
Ssegonga brought in another suggestion that let them build the chicken coops in groups as they did with stoves. The suggestion was accepted and are going to set some little rules to guide them as they do the building.
Margaret thanked Kibo for the development in the community.
