- When Alex B arrived at Kasuleta,he found Sumani Kada waiting for him where they used to meet. Later some other members of the committee came in for the meeting.
Alex B asked them about how the group was functioning since he had last meeting with the group. Sumani Kada the leader of the committee gave a brief report about the group.He said that that they had taken some months without meeting since this year began. This resulted from him and the incumbent stood for the chairperson of Lc1 Isabirye Bumali who is also a member of the group.Because of the election that forced them to all look for votes from the same community which ended up dividing the group. The committee also was divided that made them not to call for group meeting until individuals started calling Alex B to intervene in their affairs.
Alex B told the committee to accept the mistake they did by taking part fully in politics and forgot that they were voted in as leaders in the group for unity,love and to guid others. He asked to forgive one another and embrace unity among themselves in order to work for development in their homes,group and community.He did not blame any body but encouraged them to forget the past and focus on issues that will help them to have joy and peace in the community and also the group.
The secretary of the group Kadhulungu Mubarak suggested that they will organize a general meeting and asked Alex B to attend.The rest of the committee members supported it and they agreed to inform the members about his going their on 5/11/2018.
The meeting will be for members to renew their mind,reconciliation and to work together to develop their families,group and the community. The members are expected to participate in the meeting by contributing ideas in calm manner,he told the leaders.He wished a good week as they go around informing the members about the next meeting,it was three o’clock and he left for Jinja.
