- Abraham went to Iganga to pick Nabirye the chairperson because her mother is sick in the hospital. They reached Ikumbya village around a half past three and met thirty five community members. They went through their constitution and all members agreed to the take it to the sub county for registration.
The chairperson Mss Nabirye told the meeting that the CDO told her that they have to pay one hundred thousand to the sub county and they will get a receipt which they will take to the district for registration whereby they will get a certificate.
The members decided that each member to pay two thousand shillings so that they can register their group. They said they want to do poultry as a group and as individual, they discussed that each member will be given two local chickens and they want to have chickens for group. They have started bringing poles for chicken coop and one member donated timber which will be put at the sides. They decided that next Monday will be a day of starting construction.
They started a saving scheme to help them in times of death, they contribute so that when one loses a members they send to him or her some money to assist in any case of transport and other things.
