Notes
The community leaders have taken the lead to work and improve on their village. They help to monitor, evaluate, share pick axes, teach their fellow residents on the benefits of having all these facilities. During this visit, Enock went with the probation officer Madam Esther to visit some kid who was abandoned by his parents and left the baby for a care taker who is the grandmother. Enock had promised to bring with him the probation officer to help and intervene in the matter of child neglect which has resulted to stunted growth in the kid of three years but looks like 7 months. . The probation officer took down the notice and told me that she will follow up with the father of the kid to help get all the fact findings and be able to help the kid. Enock walked around visiting homes, teaching and encouraging members on the benefits of all the facilities in homes as well as the challenges that may result in this village say epidemic diseases like cholera, dysentery, diarrhea which may result to the death and loss of our beloved ones. The chairman was so happy and appreciative for the great work in this community, thankful for kibo group for working extensively to bring change in their community. The other homes which were walked in, they met the VHT who was carrying bricks to the site where they are constructing a latrine. The husband was not there but they told him, they are teaming up to improve on the sanitation of their home.
