Notes
David was in the village . His intention of going there was to monitor and check the borehole status and the sanitation improvements . When David reached the village he was joined by the adviser and the chairman of the village mr Mpata to some homes which were lagging behind They moved in kiyindo Basalirwa Moses’s home . For him he had worked and complete his latrine construction. The second home the Kibo staff visited was for Ronald Wayisindi. Since the Kibo staff was carrying out the third evaluation kiyindo Basalirwa had not constructed a shelter around his finished dug pit. Therefore David encouraged him to work hard and improve on his latrine construction. To avoid kiyindo Basalirwa from using his neighbors latrine. From there they visited the following homes which were still practicing open deification. Lolian, Frank Mulwanyi , Sololye Basoga . Unlike Lolian and Frank Mulwanyi . Mr Sololye Basoga is mentally disturbed. Therefore David encouraged the committee members to get a day and help Sololye Bosco with the construction of a latrine in his home . After all that they visited the boreholes in A and B . They found that the status of the borehole was not in good condition because the fence was torn apart and the two borehole sock-pits were not taken good care of . Therefore David and the adviser on the borehole committee mr Mpata saw it as important to organize and call for a sanitation and borehole improvement general village meeting. The two treasurers of the two boreholes told David that they were not holding meetings since the Kibo staff left the village. They said that even the two contributions for the two boreholes in A and B was low . Therefore David thought that there was great need for a-village general meeting to kind of reviving the residents on their full ownership and care of their borehole . In general the hygiene and sanitation status of the village was good except for the few three homes that are still practicing open deification
