Ownership Story: Teamwork has helped Bupeni take ownership in their community. One member lost a goat that Kibo gave, the community sat and decided to contribute some money each one and bought a goat for their friend.

Lesson Taught: Health lesson 5: Teeth Cleaning
Notes: Irene taught about dental care. Irene asked the community what they use to clean their teeth.The community members had different things they used to clean their teeth which included a stick,charcoal,ash,sand,ash and poop mixture,soap,and others used a clean piece of sack to clean their teeth. Irene discouraged the use of some of these things like ash mixed with poop,sand,a piece of sack which may contain bacteria and also be harsh to the mouth and bring infection. Irene advised the community members to use tooth paste, advised to floss, use salt, ash and charcoal also to avoid sharing tooth brushes, boil tooth brushes,and visit the health center for dental checkup and Incase of dental cavity they visit the dentist. After the lesson she encouraged questions and Irene was asked.”is it important to brush babies teeth even when they are to be removed?,can the cement for construction also be used to seal the teeth? Irene advised to brush the babies because despite removing them they also attract bacteria that affects the teeth and the mouth and also Irene advised them not to use the cement used or building to put in their teeth as this is harmful and may cause serious damage and complications.
