- Tom made a visit to kisiro village to meet with the village leaders and share with them about the residents that by the third evaluation still did not have a latrine and to discuss on a way forward for those homes. When Tom reached the village, he found when two of the committee members were waiting at the meeting place. They said because it has started raining, most of the other members were still in the garden and like wise the chairmen. But the two committee members started moving around looking for the others and to some like the chairmen were called by phone. After about one hour of waiting, Tom asked about one active committee members were he was. The two said he was sick so he could not turn up. Tom suggested that they visit him in his home. They found him very sick and he could barely move out f the house. Tom suggested they take him to the hospital and Tom offered to drive them to the nearby hospital. After Tom came back to meet the rest of the committee members. In the meeting, he shared with the chairmen that turned up about the remaining residents. The chairmen were surprised that Tom new all those people and as Tom read out the names, the chairmen nodded their heads and they laughed in Agreement that those people did not have latrines. The chairmen agreed during the meeting that each chairman will act in his section to get each section reach the 100% latrine mark. When Tom asked about what deadline they were giving each other, they failed to agree directly on one date. Tom encouraged them to set a one month deadline so that they work towards that. Majority seemed to agree but still a few people in the meeting said it might be hard it being a rainy season. Tom after left to bring back the other committee member from the hospital and after bringing him home, he left for jinja.
