Notes
Abraham met thirty one Ikumbya community members and they shared how they are going to look after the chickens. Some members were suggesting that they will all come and work every day but some said that it will not work because if one get a problem you may not know why he or she did not come and you may assume that he or she came yet he did not.
The chairperson Nabirye brought a suggestion that they can make a list and every member will know his or her day of working but again in the group there those members who are old and this work needs strong women and men.
Abraham thanked the members for the good work they are doing and he gave them a suggestion to have one person who will be working and they can contribute some small money for him to look after the chickens and all members will also be responsible for checking how the chickens are doing. The members bought the idea and they said they will meet and get one of the boys who do the work but for the moment he was not around and they want to consult from him.
Abraham told the meeting that he is going to carry out the evaluation knowing how trees each planted, how many are still alive and even the chickens they got. They are so excited to work together as a group and one member said that this the first project they doing as a village together since he was born in Ikumbya.
