- Notes
- Harriet,Jeska and Tape found the members gathered at the meeting place. They divided them into three groups whereby each Kibo staff went to one group. They gave each group a task of removing Banana stems from previously constructed stoves. One group did well but the rest failed completely because they could not shape the stoves well and left the banana stem in the vent. Kibo staff had to correct them redo the work while explaining to them the mistakes they made and what would be the result. For instance leaving the banana stem in the vent would keep smoke in the kitchen because it's blocked.Harriet also reminded them that the stove is built with four pieces of banana stems which have to be taken out. Members apologized for their mistake and thanked Kibo for empowering them with a skill of building stoves and being patient with them. They promised to try to remove banana stems in one of the constructed stove and Kibo staff will come and inspect their work in the next visit.
