Notes
Introduction Manuela went to Kivule village to continue with the previous lesson which she taught about dangers of early pregnancy in the community, due to weather change, Manuela and Lorna did not finish the lesson planed for that day. This lesson was aimed at encouraging parents so that they start advising their children while still young so that they can impart in them good morals that will enable them to have self esteem. Overview When Manuela reached the village, she found some community members seated waiting for her at the meeting place. She reached them and greeted them, they stayed for some times as they wait for other people to join them. After some time, they came and Manuela started to teach, Manuela started by asking the members about what they learnt last week, Members where able to share their ideas which was good. During teaching, Kibo staff asked members what they think about the dangers of early pregnancy and the possible solutions, members said that they really feel bad when their young girls get pregnant at early stage, yet they want their children also to reach university. One of the woman said that, her girl got pregnant while she was in primary four at Kivule primary school, she felt so bad to make the matter worse the boy abandoned the girl and he said that the pregnancy is not his, she suffered with her daughter, all she did was to take her to the vocational school and now she is a tailor. Finally, Manuela encouraged the community members try as possible to have some time to talk to their children while still young.
