- Notes
- Abraham met twenty eight Sinde community members at the usual place of meeting near the bore hole. The chairman told the meeting about what happed last time when someone was claiming the bore hole that it was a gift of him.
He said that it brought divisions in the community because the one who gave a church land was told byJames Okumu that the bore hole was his gift. He thanked Kibo for sending Alex to try and solve the situation and the members also responded that it was bad but now it is coming down slowly.
Abraham encouraged the group to continue working together and what they have to know is that Kibo wants them to stay together and work together and anyone tying to divide them should be told to leave the group alone. The bore hole was drilled for all people to share the good news of God. They members said that they still have a problem of church members who want to get more jerrycans of water from the bore hole when other members do not have. Abraham told them that Kibo loves all people and that is why we want the church to show love to their neighbors by letting them get some water since this is the only bore hole with good water. He thanked the community for doing good work of loving all people.
They said they are going to meet and continue to see if they change some of the things in their constitution to fit what they want to do next as a group. Abraham left the village because it was getting late back to Jinja.
