Notes
Manuela and Lorna went to Nawiabete village, to teach the second last lesson, which was about positive living and behavior change, this lesson is aimed at encouraging members who are HIV positive not to lose hope because if the they follow doctors orders they will live longer with the virus, for instance Manuela told members to eat well balanced diet food, do some exercise, take medication in time avoid stress and also told them to avoid rein-effecting them selves they should use condoms. after teaching Manuela and Lorna also moved around the village to monitor the home facilities standards as they come to un end of the life skills program in this village.
Manuela and Lorna encouraged the community members to be good listeners to other people who are coming in their community with another program, and also they should take good care of their children.
Since kids are in holiday, Manuela encouraged the parents to work together with their in the farm so that they should not lack man power during family work. She also told them to continue maintaining their home facilities because what ever they did is for their own good not for Kibo Group.
During discussion, Manuela asked the community that which lessons should be reported, members said that how HIV is transmitted from one person to another, Manuela and Lorna are planning to teach that lessons in their next trips. Finally, Manuela and Lorna encouraged the community members to clean their jerrycans so that they don’t fall sick from water born disease.
