- Alex B Met thirty members of the of Bupaluka about how they can manage their demonstration group garden. To discussion how they can care like weeding and how they will harvest and store the soybeans and cassava.
Mutooto Saul the chairperson of the group reported as the demonstration group garden has some challenges.He mention of some members did not participated in the fast weeding. They had person commitment that cold not allow them to attend.He added that fast spraying was done and crops were doing good.
Alex B advised them to love and consider the demonstration group garden as uniting factor and learning project. He told them always respond whoever they are called to work in the garden. The money for pesticides to spray should always be available to deal with the pests that might destroy their crops. He also advised them to not leave many stems of cassava to avoid crowding the garden. The issue of how they will harvest fast the soybeans,members were told to think about it. He even asked them to start thinking how they will store and sale their soybeans. The cassava since will take some time before will harvested.He advised to think of another crop that will be planted there after harvesting soybeans.
Mose one of the members suggested to the members to since it was a rain season to grow crops that will yield within a short period.He mentioned to them like green vegetable. They bought the idea and members promised in the next meeting to discuss it in their next meeting.
