Notes
Alex B with Mr.Kisira Martin and Mulindwa Moses walked as he was doing the evaluations. He noted that most of the members their goats have given birth. He noted that those that their goats are dead, the chairperson told him that they are working as members to see that they contribute money and buy them goats. The group bought the goats in May 2017 and now most of them have given birth to one and others to two young ones. The goats are healthy and the leaders check with the members to find out how the goats that was given to them by kibo Group are doing.
He noted that with mvule and musizi trees, some mvule are dead and some are doing very good, though with musizi also some are dead and the members said that those that are dead was as a result of long drought that was experienced after planting them.
He advised them to consult the forestry and veterinary officers for help. Like when the trees shed off the leaves he told them, that may be season for them to do it like other trees. The goats he advised them to keep it as they have been doing it because their goats are healthy.
The exercise of the last evaluation for mvule program has been finished and members are happy with the mvule program and promised to care for their trees and goats.
