Notes: Martin and Enock arrived to this community to check on latrine construction, dish rack, shower areas, kitchen area, new hand washing stations, clean compounds, emphasize the smearing of all the facilities. As they reached the village , they teamed with the local leaders to walk around and check on latrine constructed, sensitize the residents to construct good facilities and use of strong foundation to construct sustainable structures. There are many new dish racks under construction and many new hand washing stations. There are also many new latrine which are under construction. We encouraged the residents to construct sustainable facilities by using good and strong materials like use of cement, sand and bricks. There are many homes which have embraced the program and working hard towards improving their homes. We reminded the residents about the core importance and benefits of good and proper sanitation in their homes. During this visit, we encouraged the residents to share the pick axes ? and shovels to dig pits. As we continued walking around, we taught the use of ash in latrines, the benefits of shower areas and constructing tall wall structures . The residents are so committed to work hard and improve on the sanitation levels.
