The committee members together with the chairman of bulyowa mr waako David will hold a sanitation improvement meeting in order bringing everyone on board as far as hygiene and sanitation are concerned
Ws Notes
The borehole has got eight pipes no borehole fence and a good soak pit. The members collected the poles but the adviser mr mpata told the members to collect the poles and put all of them at the chairman’s home mr waako David in order that they may not be stolen. The committee members said that they believe in mr waako David being a faithful person in their community. The borehole talked About is the one Kibo is intending to pattern with the community of bulyowa in repairing the borehole. This will be done after they will have worked and improved on their hygiene standards up to the required hygiene standards. The Kibo staff advised the community members they came across from their homes to love the program and work together with the committee members for the good hygiene improvement of bulyowa village. They were also encouraged to respect one another though some members are younger than other members who were not on the committee like BAkaaki Ronald, who is the youngest but active member responsible for the youth on the water users committee. On the side of hygiene and sanitation some community members were working on some new hygiene facilities like dish racks, shower area, rubbish pits and some houses and kitchens they had started smearing them out. The great challenge was in one members home which had no latrine at all ,for that reason David ,the adviser mr mpata gave mr Lidda the owner of the home two weeks to dig and have a latrine in his home failure to do so it will cause him to be taken to ivukula sub-county for punishment .As far as their borehole account ,they showed David 95000 shillings they had contributed. the committee members said that they will continue encouraging all the members who have not contributed to pay for the future sustainability of their borehole.
