Notes
Martin and Enock went to mpumiro village, to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement in that village. They walked around that village with the Chairman LC1 and sanitation committee members, in the lower section a long the mosque of Buyooboya road. But good enough the community members were working so hard especially on their new pit latrines and constructing them. The group were so encouraged to see that other community members are making concrete with cement to put slabs on their latrines. And others are constructing their shower facilities with bricks, which is so good on the side of kibo and the village itself. The group were encouraging them that even if their busy working on their new pit latrines, they have to work on other sanitation facilities like dish racks, rubbish pits, kitchens and shower facilities. And they were encouraging them about the standards, maintenance, smearing and the use of ash to eliminate flies and smell in their homes. The Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee told the group that, they are willing to encourage the community members to work had on their sanitation facilities. Because that grogram is helping them, not kibo. Martin, Enock and the walked in 40homes.

Next Visit: 2019-06-26 - Purpose: Follow up on new facilities.
