Notes: Tom reached the village when it was raining and the rains lasted for a while. After the rains slowed down, two vhts arrived at one of the committee members home where they were to hold there meeting about conflict resolution in the committee. Even though the rains had slowed down, it was still drizzling. The committee members suggested that the meeting be postponed and one of them suggested that it should not be held as they had resolved with the member that had complained. They decided that they move around a little to see the nearby homes and check on the improvements in sanitation and hygiene. In the first home near the borehole, the resident had started on the pit and he had gone to a depth of 5ft while three other residents had new dish racks. The members were collecting money from residents to buy nails to distribute for construction of the dish racks. They had also started saving money for cement to put on their shower facilities. Tom encouraged them to be honest with the residents money and put it to buying the things that the residents have entrusted them to buy especially the nails and the cement. Tom cut the visit short because the rains were increasing and left for jinja.
