Notes
Suzan in the company of Martin went to Kabul purposely to introduce the Healthy and Safe Kitchen program to the village local leaders. When they arrived there, they went straight to the meeting place and found some leaders already sitting and waiting. After welcoming them, one of the leaders the L.C.1 chairperson Mr. Sulayman informed Kibo staff about the other leaders who were soon joining them at the meeting. Martin who was already well known by the leaders as one of the WASH team members took lead and introduced Suzan as one of the new program team leaders whose intentions that day was to meet and introduce the program to them. Amidst the meeting, other leaders came in and one by one introduced themselves mentioning their names, their positions and the particular area they were leading. The village consisted of four L.Cs and of which each leader turned up in the meeting that day. Suzan stood up and thanked the members for coming to meeting and then went ahead introducing herself and the Healthy and Safe Kitchen program. She talked about the goals and objectives of the program and how it would benefit each one of them with their families. Suzan kindly requested the leaders to always try and mobilize the community members to attend the program lessons on the agreed dates and keep time for this would enable them learn and improve on their healthy lives. Suzan concluded by asking the leaders if they accepted the program ,and together they happily accepted and fixed the date and time that the next meeting would take place.
