Abraham, George and Isaac met forty Kiteigalwa community members and the purpose of the meeting was concerning opening of a group account because this group started as one group at first but when it grew so big then it was divided into two group A and B. Now when it came to open a group account some members wanted each group to have their own bank account and some wanted to have one bank account so that they can all use that account. Abraham continued advising them to have one bank Account because when they open the account goes with costs like bank charges, the process to open and money which will be deposited on the Account. The members decided to have one account and they selected two members from group A and one member from group B They chairman of the village Mr Eremye Iduma told the meeting that they got a certificate from Buwunga sub county and now they are registered at the sub county level but hoping to register at the district. They were told that they need to get one hundred thousand to register the group at the district. They have to contribute money and register the group to the district. They moved around checking the trees which were doing fine and some are twenty five feet tall, for hygiene and sanitation they are working since an organization called Goal is in the area teaching CLTS and there are new pit latrines being dug, they visited the two mosques the one for the shire and for the Sunnis. This group decided to for a group called rice growing and it for all me,bets of the community who grow rice so that they can work together to market they rice and also to make their village a better place than it is today. They are going to have a big meeting with all community members next Friday.

2019-06-28 - Purpose: To meet the all community members and discuss how they want to start a rice growing group.
