Martin went to lgerera A, to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement in the upper section of the village. He walked around that section with the Chairman LC1, VHT and the parish chief. Good enough they found many homes who was busy digging their new pit latrines and others are constructing them. The group was so encouraged to see that, for those who are still working on their new latrines, they are constructing them in a good standard with bricks and cement. The Chairman LC2 was so much happy, to see the community members busy digging their new latrines. And he told Martin that he is willing to work with kibo encouraging the community members about their sanitation facilities. Because kibo’s program is helping him, to maintain the standards of that village. Because it’s a new village on the side of water, sanitation and hygiene, the group was encouraging them about the standards, maintenance, smearing and the use of ash to eliminate flies and smell in their homes. If they can not that, they can reduce diseases like malaria and other diseases that can be caused by dirty places. Generally the community members are willing to work on their sanitation facilities, because the pick Axes are busy in that section and kibo also is willing to work with them encouraging them about their sanitation facilities . And kibo also is willing to work with that village. Martin and the group walked in 38homes.
