- Notes
- Suzan went to the village and met some of the community members gathered at the secretary’s home where the meeting was going to take place. However, the intentions that day was to walk around the homes mainly from the lower side of the village while monitoring different facilities and the stove usage.
Madam Hasifer one of the committee members reported saying that most members and the program chairperson had taken some of their crops for sale in Namutumba trading center since it was a market day. Suzan decided to move around the homes with the members present and visited a few homes.
Some members had greatly maintained and repaired their facilities as well as the sanitation and hygiene within their homes, while others were yet to build and repair their facilities such as the dish racks which were in a bad state, unfinished kitchens, bathrooms and latrines. Some of the buildings are well smeared together with the stoves. Suzan thanked members for taking good care of their facilities and encouraged them to always maintain them so as to live a happy healthy life. For those members who had not repaired their facilities facilities promised to do so immediately they completed their garden work because they received some rains which encouraged them to plant their crops.
The members thanked Suzan for the advice and wished her a safe journey back home.
