- Irene went to Budumba to continue with nutrition and basically dealt with how to make a balanced diet. Irene started with a review of the previous lesson then asked the members some of the common types of crops grown in their communities.
Variety of foods were mentioned and these can easily be grown in their gardens or provided in the market at the cheapest prices. These were categorized into the different foods for example energy giving foods, body building, and the glow foods with different examples of each type.
The community members were excited on knowing the different foods. Later as the discussion continued Irene divided the members into different groups in order for them to understand the lesson well with this each group represented a different food type.
After the lesson members asked different questions and since its a planting season promised to plant a variety of different food types so that they can have plenty.
