- Notes
- Abraham met forty nine Kiteigalwa community members and the purpose of the meeting was to discuss about how they will get the materials like bricks and sand to the site where they want to construct a clinic.
The chairman told the meeting that they have been thinking of getting the total number of bricks then they can divide according to the members so that each can bring a certain number, they had another suggestion to buy the bricks or to make them by themselves.
Abraham told them that all ideas are good but it needs all of the members to be around Because some may have a different idea. Also he advised them to look and where they can get sand so that they can reduce the amount of the budget they have and they said they are going to ask if some members have places where they can get sand.
They are going to meet again and discuss those things so that by the next meeting they will come up with a clear plan of doing things.
They are working on hygiene and sanitation with another NGO called GOAL, Kibo had started working on hygiene and sanitation but found out that GOAL is also working in the same area and they are digging new latrines and dish racks.
