Enock and Martin went with the sub-county health inspector and the police officer to also check and teach the community the benefits of hygiene in their homes and the whole village at large. They first visited the trading centre and homes that are neighbouring. There is some good improvement going on, new latrines constructed, shower areas, dish racks, kitchen areas, rubbish pits. The people who already completed with the construction of new latrines, were taught the use of ash in the latrine, the importance of hand washing facilities say to wash hands after visiting the latrine. The area after the trading centre, there are couple of homes like 7, they have only one latrine functioning and of which it’s also almost full, the owner showed Enock and Martin where he was digging a new one. He is about 10ft deep and he is digging up to 15ft deep. In the neighbouring homes all the residents ran away and left source pans cooking in their kitchens. They ran away because they gave Kibo staff false promises for long that they will by now have latrines. The chairman and the VHTs plus the sub-county health inspector agreed to work together to work to encourage everyone to have all the facilities. There is a section where people are busy with the pick Axes digging new latrine holes as some people are constructing dish racks and smearing them.
