- Martin and Stephen were in Igerera A, to check on the progress of sanitation and hygiene in that village. They walked around with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members, while they was encouraging those who are still working on their sanitation facilities about the standards, maintenance and smearing. Because those who have worked on their sanitation facilities like latrines, dish racks, rubbish pits, kitchens and shower facilities. Some homes met the standards. but some they need more encouragement about it. Good enough the hall village is willing to work on their sanitation facilities, because they are constructing them in a strong way like latrines with bricks and cement, others are roofing them with iron sheets and others with grass. Generally the community members in that village at list every one is having a new pit latrine and other facilities. And the group was so, because the community members told them that they are willing to work with kibo, because they have seen the value of the home facilities. And kibo also is willing to work with them, because they have seen their hard working. The group walked in 44homes.
