Notes
Martin went to Kishaike, he walked around that village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. The purpose of that day is to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement in that village like latrine constructions, dish racks, rubbish pits, kitchens, shower areas and hand washing facilities. Good enough the big number of homes in that village have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, kitchens, rubbish pits, shower areas and others have worked on their dish racks and hand washing facilities, Others have not constructed their dish racks, because they have to contribute money to buying nails and construct them. And for those who have worked on their sanitation facilities, the group was encouraging them about standards, maintenance smearing and the use of ash to eliminate flies and smell in their latrines. If they can not teach them how to use ash in their latrines, flies can not be reduced and they corse some diseases like malaria, typhoid and others. Because they have seen the value of those homes facilities, they are willing to work on them. And kibo also is willing to work with the community members in that village Martin and the group walked in 34homes.
