Notes
The day started by moving home to home checking on the sanitation improvements made in the village, looked at the Mvule trees given by Kibo group 3 years ago, toured the stoves and the got to see some of the goats that were given by Kibo group to the people of Kagulu. Some people have worked very and took good care of their goats to multiply and exchanged to get cows. 76 goats were given out to 76 members of Kagulu village by Kibo group. Then together with all the village people that had gathered, we went to tour the new borehole that was given by Kibo group to all the people of Kagulu recently in May this year. The borehole was extremely well maintained and was very clean that everyone was amazed. The homes too in the village were very clean and the general sanitation and hygiene standards was extremely well maintained. The village was again encouraged to maintain their sanitation standards and continue to take good care of their well. Henry challenged the village to continue working together as a village so that they can reach even greater heights than this. The village still cry out for more clean water in the nearby areas of Kagulu like in Izimba section and Butego. The village have worked very hard to reach the level they have attained but were encouraged to work more by their political leaders that attended the meeting. Jim a kibo group visitor from Divine water was very happy that Kagulu had worked very hard. Divine water group partnered with Kibo group to provide clean water to Kagulu and all the team from divine water group witnessed the work done in Kagulu. They were extremely happy for the work done in Kagulu. They also managed to move to Igerera B and witness a new well drilling that is funded by divine water.
