Notes
David and Steven were in the village. And their intentions of going there was to encourage the homes which had not yet worked and improved on their sanitation facilities. As the Kibo staff were in the village they first visited some of the homes which had not yet improved. They visited Namukasa,s home . However the Kibo staff found when Namukasa had started on the construction of his new dish rack. The dish rack Namukasa had started contributing was by the use of bricks. She reported to the Kibo staff that she had delayed to complete it because of the much rains. They continued with their home to home movements to mr Wakasanke,s home . Wakasanke was one of the most complicated member in the community. They were happy because he had completed the improvements on his new kitchen and the new dish rack. They continued and visited mr jabbu,s home . For that time he had started the construction of his new pit and it was about 6 feet. David appreciated him a lot because he used to be the most stubbornest member in the village. David continued and encouraged him to double his effort because of off and on daily rains. The Kibo staff wanted Jabbu to hurry with his pit latrine digging to avoid it from getting damaged. In general according to the hygiene and sanitation status of the entire village was good. Except for some homes which had the need for improvements.
