Introduction Manuela went to bukudomira Primary School to teach about gender and culture, this lesson is to educate the pupils about how Africa looked at an ideal woman and a current state of a woman so that theses pupils can compare and contrast, also to educate them about norms , beliefs,behavior and music as culture is concern after that , She asked them that what is an ideal woman and the quality, it was good to hear from one of the pupils say that an Africa ideal woman was supposed to be seen humble all the time , happy, loving and caring. Overview By the time Manuela reached school, she went to Life Skills class to teach the pupils because she was late due to road construction, she started by asking the pupils about the previous lessons, after than, she introduced a new lesson, she started by asking the pupils that what do they understand by the term culture? No response but Manuela explained to them what culture is she told them that it is the characteristics and knowledge of particular groups of people in the society for example language, religion, values, beliefs, norms social habits, music and art. After explanation, Manuela asked about who is an ideal man and woman? They said that an ideal woman was suppose to be a good mother loving and caring , humble and happy all the time while an ideal father was to be that man who protects, who love his family members and entire community and who provides for his family members where necessary, after that they hard some decisions about life in ancient years but some know one others do not know, then Manuela asked them that do their parents share with them about their culture norms they yes and others said no, agile she them to tell her about what practice do they do as far culture and gender is concern. Kids tried to share their i dears like girls are suppose to kneel down while greeting people, boys are suppose to graze, pay bride price , children are not suppose to seat on the three cooking stone that they will not grow and that the work of a woman is to cook food for the family members. Some of the kids said that they do have music as their culture is concern and during the dance men and women have got different styles of dance then Manuela called some kids to demonstrate how the men dance like wise the women, it was fun. Conclusion Finally Manuela told the kids to go and asked their parents to tell them about their culture norms and gender.
