- Notes
- Irene went to maliga to teach about food and water poisoning basically to teach the community on how one can tell that they’ve had food poisoning.
Irene started with a review of the previous lesson then asked the community members on what food or water poisoning meant. Naigaga said it’s taking water which is not boiled and food which is not washed. Other members gave several examples then later Irene clarified that it’s taking in water or food which is contaminated.
Then after several explanations the members also discussed the several signs that show that one has been taken in contaminated food or water. Waiswa and other members mentioned diarrhea, vomiting, nausea and many more answers as the members discussed, then after discussing the different signs and symptoms Irene suggested that the next time they meet they will be talking about the prevention.
