- Notes
- Martin went to Kishaike, he walked around that village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to encourage those who are still working on their sanitation facilities like digging the new pit latrines and constructing them, dish racks and hand washing facilities. Because the big number of homes, have worked hard on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, rubbish pits, kitchens and shower areas and others have constructed the strong and better latrines with bricks and cement and roofing them with iron sheets, which is so good on side of kibo and the government.
Because of the heavy rain and the soil is sandy, the village leaders decided to work around in that village every star days, encouraging the residents about the standards and maintenance of their home facilities. Because those who didn’t construct their home facilities like latrines, kitchens and shower facilities in a good standard, was destroyed by the heavy rain. And Martin was also happy to hear from those community members who have worked on their sanitation facilities saying that they are filling better, even if it’s raining they have were to go. The group was encouraging those who are still working on their sanitation facilities, to work hard to be on the same line and to make their homes and their village clean. Kibo is also willing to work with that village, because when you compare to other villages, they are hard working people. For those who have not constructed their dish racks, they are waiting for Sanyo to construct for them, because he is willing to construct to every one in that village for free.
The group walked in 34homes.
