- Tom reached the village and together with the vhts, they started moving in the village before having a short meeting about the next visit when Tom will introduce water source to the village. They first visited the homes near the chairman’s home where they found two residents who have started on their new pits as well as another neighbour who is also about to finish the pit for his sisters home. Tom encouraged them to continue working but to improve on the rate at which they are working. Later they visited other homes where they found another pit as well as a latrine and shower being constructed. Tom thanked the residents and encouraged them to work and finish their facilities soon. After, Tom and the vhts held a short meeting where they discussed about the way forward about the residents still working. They all agreed that they should be given one more week and that the vhts will visit them and encourage them about improving on their Sanitation and hygiene. During the meeting, two residents came and only offered their appreciation for the great work kibo has done in the village to improve on the village‘s sanitation and hygiene and encouraged Tom and the vhts to continue and even help those who have not yet finished their facilities.
