Ws Notes
David and Steven were in the village .And their intentions of going there was to discover out what was causing the water not to clear up. However as the Kibo staff were in the village they were led to the borehole by Tape and isabirye and some other active village members. When they opened up the borehole this is what was discovered. The pedestal was broken which was causing the head assembly to shake whenever they were pumping. It was because the bolts were loose. On addition to that also the Kibo staff decided that during the time of the repair process. They said that they will be adding on the shorter pipe so that it won’t reach out the bottom surface that is the screen . To avoid the last pipe getting into contact with the screen. Hence the Kibo staff left the village when they had promised to discuss all that in the Kibo meeting Incase of any further help through village partnership. In general according to the hygiene and sanitation status of the entire village was good. Except for the challenges of the borehole having more issues.
