Notes
As soon as Harriet,Jeska,Tape and Lorna reached in Kitukiro the women came running from different corners towards the Kibo staff car while singing welcoming Kibo to their village. The group had tried to build one stove on their own that Kibo staff inspected and it was fairly done. However Kibo staff corrected their mistakes and encouraged them to keep on trying until they become perfect. The group had already stamped the dirt for the two stoves that were to be built on that day.Harriet divided the group into three where by one group was led by Tape and Lorna while another one by Jeska who taught them how to practically build stoves. They did this while explaining the whole process so that groups can be able to tell the mistakes they did while building a stove on their own. Also Harriet led one group and taught them how to practically remove banana stems which was done with a lot of explanation. The goal is to ensure that they learn and be able to build stoves for other members remaining in their group. The community was very excited and thanked Kibo for empowering them with a skill and taking time to explain to them every step.
