Notes
David and Steven were in the village .And their intentions of going there was to check on the borehole status as well as meeting with the committee to continue encouraging them to remain active. As they were in the village they were joined by Fidah the adviser on the water and sanitation committee along with lsabirye George the village chairman . They were led to where the borehole was by Quite a good numbly of community members who had later joined them. During the corse of their movement to the borehole, the Kibo staff were so much encouraged by the wards which were discussed before reaching the borehole. The wards discussed all over were testimonies prayers towards the Kibo,s providence towards the village’s borehole repair and the sanitation improvements.Because they were thanking whoever donated towards the repairs of the village’s borehole. Watongola and luvaluka Ronald who used to be the most complicated members. They thanked the Kibo staff for their continuous good hygiene and the sanitation encouragements. At the borehole the Kibo staff also thanked the committee for taking the good care and full ownership of the borehole. Because the borehole sock-pit and fence were still good ,clean and stronger. The only challenge which was reported to Kibo staff was to do with the village,s neighbors who used to fetch water without having paid their future maintenance fee. Fortunately enough the members had showed up at the borehole to fetch water. For that reason the village chairman isabirye George along with Fidah the committee adviser encouraged the them to join everyone at the borehole for a-small water meeting . After the water meeting they all concluded that the neighbors were to pay afee of 4000 shillings. Also for the new members in the community who were away during the time when the village was contributing. They were given a grace period of two weeks after the Christmas festive season before they get to finish to pay their borehole contributions. They also discussed the way forward for the inactive borehole and sanitation committee members. They continued and discussed the weakness of the village’s borehole treasurer miss Namaganda rose who was some times late always for meetings. The Kibo staff guided the village through that by advising the committee members always to get back into their borehole rules and regulations . To monitor and assess how it states . However that would help the village to revive its smoothly ran of their borehole and the entire good sanitation of the village . The borehole treasurer namaganda rose addressed before the village that they had 250000 shillings as the village’s borehole account balance. David encouraged everyone to always continue contributing money towards the borehole account. David also emphasized that it is the only way of being ready to with stand for any future borehole brokerages. On the side of sanitation the Kibo staff noted that the entire was good . Except for the homes whose sanitation facilities were lost to the continuous rains . Encouraging was that the affected homes to the rains promise the Kibo staff that they be starting to reconstruct new stronger facilities.
