- Notes
- Harriet went to kalitumba village to follow up on stove building, usage, smearing and construction of fire risen stands for firewood storage.
She started walking home to home with the Vht (Dina) inspecting on the facilities. This time there was some improvement whereby some people who had three stones in the kitchen along side the fuel efficient stoves had taken them out. However there were three old women who were still believing that taking out the three stones from the kitchen may lead to the death of their husbands that is according to their cultural believe.
With smearing and construction of firewood risen stands for firewood storage had also begun taking place especially in the homes that were still lagging behind.
The chairperson of the group told Harriet that she plans to mobilize the community and discuss the way forward on how to help those with out stoves on how to get them.
Harriet encouraged them to continue maintaining their facilities and stay working together to achieve development.
The group thanked kibo for guiding and encouraging them to work hard.
