Notes
Abraham met twenty five Kivule community members and the purpose was to discuss what they can do as a group together. The chairman Mr Christopher told the meeting that last as they discussed about something that they can do as a group together they thought about having piggery but they decided that they can buy two pigs to start with. They collected one hundred thousand shillings and bought two pigs and he showed them to the members, he said that their idea is to see that in future every member will be having something to do and that means when the pigs will produce they will be giving the offsprings to the members so that they can also have the income. Abraham thanked the members for the hard work they are doing especially going a heard buying pigs as a starting point for their project as a group. He told them to start discussing how they will be giving out the offsprings because it may bring problems when the offsprings are not enough for the all members at once. He also asked them about those who were on the idea of keeping chickens and the chairman told the meeting that they discussed that if any member is interested in chickens they will also do it but on a low scale. They are going to make appointment with the district CDO and discuss with him how they will register their group.
