Martin went to Ibaako, he walked around with the Chairman LC1, VHTs and the parish chief in the lower section of the village Their intention was to check on the facility construction in that village like latrines, dish racks, rubbish pits, kitchens and shower facilities. Good enough the big number of homes have worked on their new pit latrines, they are in a process of constructing them and others are still digging them. And others have constructed their dish racks, rubbish pits and the kitchens. They told the group that they are mostly focusing on the new pit latrines, because if they complete their latrines, other facilities are easy to work on them, because they can not spend a lot of money. The group agreed with the community members that let them work on their pit latrines, as they work on other facilities. And they was also encouraging those who have started constructing their sanitation facilities like latrines, kitchens and shower facilities about the standards and maintenance to make them strong and clean. According to what is going on about the new pit latrines and other facilities, the village leaders are also willing to encourage the residents to work on their home facilities and to change their village. And they have started to make follow ups encouraging the community members about their sanitation facilities. And community members are also willing to work on them. As kibo is still continuing to with that community, the group walked in 40homes.
