- Notes
- Abraham met thirty two Bukoma C community members and the purpose was to teach them how to care for the goats like having shelters for them so that they are not exposed to thieves and bad weather. How to treat them every month they are supposed to be given one deworming tablet because every time they graze they eat worms on grass which makes them to diarrhea especially when new grass comes after rain.
They went through the list which makes a goat health and productive and some members didn’t know that goats are supposed to be treated because some said for them they just look when an animal is sick and they get well without giving them anything.
Abraham told them that if you want to gain from something then take care of it well and you will get something from it, he told them that some people do not have bananas because they don’t know how to care for the banana plantation but if you put manure, weeding. The members said that they have built kitchens preparing for the goats but still some few members were still finishing working on their kitchens.
They are so excited to receive goats and the chairman told the group to continue with the same spirit as they are working on pigs to extend it to goats. They said they work in turns caring for pigs and they made a list of those who going to give them food and the time.
