Notes
David was in kirwanire village. And his intention of going there was to continue encouraging the members about the rightful sanitation standards . As David was in the village he was joined by the secretary on the sanitation committee. They started moving home to home while encouraging from the trading centre up-to the chairman,s place. However they noted that there was a-lot of improvements in the following homes. Mwanja Gustine he had finished his latrine pit about 30 feet deeper. He was encouraged to construct a shelter on top of his pit to protect it from the on going rains.James mbale he had also constructed a 15 feet deeper pit . But still he said that he wanted to dig it deeper than the depth he had reached. On that note David encouraged him to use stronger construction materials for the future sustainability of his latrine. Kizibu Steven he had also finished his construction of his pit latrine and even roofed it using the plant materials. After when they had finished their home to home movements they went to the trading centre. Because it’s where they had packed the car from and the pick axes were in the car . Therefore they handed the two pick axes to the sanitation committee . The committee was so impressed with the support from kibo for the pick axes . The chairman of the committee was very impressed because he said that the work was to move more efficiently . The chairman of the village continued and registered the two additional more pick axes . He distributed them into the two sections which were more badly off with their sanitation. David on the side of the kibo he thought that it would extremely help for the smooth ran of the sanitation improvement work in the village. David,s overview was that the sanitation work would have moved more steadily. But due to the challenge of the rains which recently damaged the bricks they had made as a village group. But the positive side of it all the village said that they were to go ahead to make new more bricks hence under a shelter for their good formation and protection. David left the village with a big task that he was hoping to see greater improvements in the two sections which had received the two more pick axes.
