Notes
Alex B told the members that they are going to receive goats but it is important to decide how they are going to receive them. The members were also in the process of giving out their hens. The members brought this up as an idea and they each contributed money to buy themselves hens. They put all the chickens in a room and there was one person who was giving them to the members once their name was called. They agreed to take back sh 5000 after six month to boost the income of the Group. Alex B witnessed as members received the chickens. This has been a result of unity, hard work, contribution and saving some money for the poultry project. Alex B told them that since there was some question marks about the exercise of giving out the chickens ,he told them that with goats it is going to be through voting or ballot paper. The exercise was done and numbers were written on paper from No.1 to 45 as they are in their group. He told them that when the goats will be bought, they are all to be locked up in one room while the ropes tied on the goats left outside. The names will be read one by one from No.1 and he will be required to pick up the rope which will be left outside. The members were happy with the idea and said that that will do away with issues for example complaints about favouritism or someones goat being bigger than the other.
