Alex B met with Lc1 and few leaders of the group about how the group will operate during the COVID-19. The meeting was chaired by the Lc1 chairman mr.Moses Kivugwa who also doubles as a member of the group .This was after Kibo group consulting the government district officials and was given permission to operate. The chairperson of the group Mutooto Saul was present with other three members since big gathering was stopped by the government. The Lc1 opened the meeting to take place by welcoming everyone. Alex B asked them how they were operating in the community during covid -19. The community was aware of the guidelines but no body even had a mask however kibo provided five extra masks which Alex gave each member and they were thankful. The chairperson of the group reported that since the lockdown,they had never met as a group. He even said they managed to hire the land but since gatherings were stopped they have not developed the land . They agreed on that when Alex B will go back,he will visit the members in their home.It will be done to encourage them to start thinking of how best they can meet in small groups for the good of their group.He will together with few members of the group leaders move around since they have been meeting. The LC1 pledged to reach out to every member encouraging them to work together and also mobiles them for the next meeting. Alex will be going back on Friday 3/07/2020 to meet members in their homes.
