The meeting began with prayer and after the Lc1 welcomed all the people who turned up for the meeting.The chairperson of the Group Mr.Martin Kisira gave welcome remarks and thanked kibo Group for the all the programs like CLTS and mvule. He was informing the CDO of the achievement so far they have attained.
Alex B on his arrival visited one of the members homes Mr.Kakaire and found that his mvule tree is good and the goat that was given to him is healthy. He later went to the meeting place and the CDO of Ivukula sub-county Mr Kairu Nicolas also came in for the meeting. It was on appointment that he will meet the members and talk to them about the government programs.He had to give time to the CDO to let the community learn more how to work together and benefit from the government.
The CDO told the members how government works with kibo group to better their standard of living in the community. He thanked kibo Group for the programs like CLTS and mvule which has helped the members to transform their way of living.He told them to see that they benefit from what was given to them like trees and the goats.He also told them that they should work together for development in their families,Group and community.He asked them to look after their goats to the point that from the goat, one can get a cow. He asked the members to live by their constitution for guidance and also promised them to continue going their to teach and guide the members.
