Notes
Suzan went to the upper side of the village to follow up on the construction of the firewood storages, smearing of the stoves and buildings. When she arrived there, she found three group leaders at the meeting place who welcomed her to the village. They briefly sat down and figured out how the activity was going to be carried out that day and how many homes would be visited since they were few members. They got up together and began walking around the village while visiting specific homes that still had poor facilities such as dish racks, broken stoves, kitchens with less grass at the roof, incomplete shower areas and latrines which needed to be smeared. Some members had greatly improved and maintained their facilities and were found cooking on their fuel efficient stoves, while others promised to do so once they got free time after planting their crops. One of the old members was found cooking outside her kitchen on a three stones because her kitchen was destroyed by the previous storms while she was away in another village. However, it was observed that a new kitchen was halfway constructed within her compound and she said she would soon complete it once she sold off her crops. She also promised to build a fuel efficient stove once her kitchen was complete and Suzan thanked her for taking courage in constructing a new kitchen which was not usually done by some members. She went ahead encouraging the members to improve on their facilities and build the firewood storages in their kitchens which would help them save firewood especially during the rainy seasons. The members thanked Suzan for the advice given and the meeting finally came to an end wishing each other a happy stay.
