Notes
Martin went to Igerera A, he walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on the hand washing and other sanitation facilities. But good enough the big number of homes have worked on their hand washing stands and other facilities like rubbish pits, kitchens, dish racks and shower areas. like Kalimu Kawanguzi worked his new dish rack, Muhammad Kiirya, he worked for all the facilities, kitchen, dish rack, rubbish pit and the latrine it’s under construction, Nuwa Kailu, worked for other facilities, the latrine, shower area, dish rack, the latrine, it’s under construction, Elimia Bampalana worked on the new dish rack, hand washing stand and the kitchen. And others are still busy working on their new home facilities, for example Nakilanda Ester, they dug for hear the new pit latrine 25ft deep, she promised to construct it in two weeks. And the group was so encouraged to meet Aneti, Tabu’s wife making bricks for constructing their new latrine. When they asked her that why are you making these bricks, she said that, she has been visiting there neighbor’s homes whom they have worked on their home facilities and she has seen the value of those facilities. That is why she decided to make the bricks for constructing her new latrine, because her husband is ever busy working in Towns. For those who have worked on their home facilities like latrines, kitchens and shower facilities, the group was busy encouraging them about maintenance and smearing, to make them strong and clean. The for others who are still working on their new facilities, the group was encouraging them about the standards and working so hard to complete their sanitation facilities. And for those who have not worked on their hand washing stands, the group was demonstrating to them, how they can construct them in a better way. As the group was walking home to home as well as demonstrating to the residents how they can construct their hand washing stands and kibo is still working in that community as well as the village, the group walked in 30homes. ,
