Notes
David and Steven were in kirwanire village . Their intentions of going there was to join with the sanitation committee members moving from the trading centre up to the lower section of the village encouraging the residents to work hard and improve on their hygiene and sanitation standards. As they were in the village they were joined by fraouk , Gerald and Ben muzale who led them into the different homes . In the trading centre they Visited the homes of kalulu magidu and kagoya Regina,s homes . However the kibo staff were not so impressed with kalulu Magidu because he was having a shop with in the trading centre but he didn’t have latrine . Funny enough kalulu Magidu was using his neighbors pit latrine . So when the kibo staff were talking to his neighbor mis Regina she was also complaining about him using his pit latrine . Therefore the kibo staff advised him to dig his own pit latrine . Instead kalulu Magidu was confessing that he will not dig a pit latrine and even he was trying to confuse Steven that he was not the owner of the home . Therefore the sanitation committee members along with kalulu Magidu,s neighbors they helped the kibo that the home was his . On that reason when David appeared before them , kalulu Magidu changed and said that he was the owner of the home . David talked to him and even later he promised David that he was going to dig a pit latrine for the first time in his home. David also continued and encouraged him to also construct a-hand washing station . Later the kibo staff and the sanitation committee members they visited the lower section. However they were so much encouraged with the way how the residents had smeared their houses and the kitchens. And the majority of the members had even started constructing dish racks and digging rubbish pits in the different homes. However the members were advised by the kibo staff to construct standardized dish racks with the big poles which are durable and sustainable . In the lower section out of the many homes David and Steven visited , some homes had already finish the construction of their hand washing stations except in the trading centre were the construction of the hand washing stations had just started.
