After along break , Alex b and Chris managed to visit nabituluntu village and first, they met the sub county chief at his office then proceeded to meet the community leaders who included the chairman and his committee. The meeting was intended to lay a strategic point of view for our next course of action as far as uniting the community which has for so long been divided is concerned. Alex b and Chris were supposed to have visited Nawaibete village but the community lost some one so everyone including the community leaders went for the burial so Alex and Chris opted to go to nabituluntu. Prior to our visit, the sub county officials invited Kibo but Mvule staff particularly to be on that dialogue intended to bring the whole community on board. The officials believe kibo has a good relationship with the community and for that reason Kibo’s presence at the meeting will be of great importance. During the brief meeting Alex b and Chris had with the chairman and his committee, they agreed to hold a meeting of the whole community on 2/09/2020 at 12:00 pm and the meeting will take place at the church which they believe is the neutral ground for both sides. The chairman and his committee agreed that this will be a very important meeting because residents will give their views why they have been divided and what can be done to get them united. After the meeting the chairman volunteered to move with Chris and Alex b home to home to mobilize for the long awaited meeting and they were able to split and moved to 45 homes. The next visit on 2/09/2020 we shall be meeting with the whole nabituluntu both upper and lower plus all the local leaders both at the sub county and district level. 

Next Visit

2020-09-02 - Purpose: Meet are meeting the whole community both upper and lower with the sub county leaders to unite the community that has for long been divided along political views. We shall also elect new committee leaders that day.
