Irene went to kagulu to teach about measles, it’s signs and symptoms,mode of spread, prevention and treatment. Irene was welcomed by the vht who continued to warn the community members about the neglect of face masks as they move from one area to another and lack of hand washing places in their homes. To those who think that the COVId 19 virus is not real the government will use force on them. She then welcomed Irene to take over with the lesson. Irene thanked the community members for their presence and encouraged them to mobilize others, Irene started by asking the community members the meaning of measles. Suzan said it’s when one gets a rash all over the body but when it’s itchy, musa said it’s when a baby gets high temperatures,running nose and a rush . On addition to that Irene gave the symptoms and signs of measles giving the different period in which the signs present. There after the members talked about the mode of spread, which involved sharing beddings, sponges among others. Irene also shared the prevention which involved avoiding contact with the person having measles, taking the children for vaccination, and visiting the hospital for treatment.
